Governmental Decision 20/2017 on the organization and functioning of the Ministry of Waters and Forest

According to the previsions of GD the Ministry of Waters and Forest is public central authority for waters and forest field.
The competences are: waters management, forest and hunting management, hydrology, hydrogeology, protection and preservation of natural capital of waters and forest ecosystems.
Ministry of Waters and Forest establishes the t national policy in the water and forest fields for all its sectors and subsectors, set up the strategy and specific regulations for development and harmonization of these activities within the Government policy and strategy; coordinates the implementation of the Government's strategy in its areas of competence, fulfilling the role of state authority, synthesis, coordination, regulation, monitoring, inspection and control in these areas.
